Welcome to Beachwalk Retreat!  Here are the house and Crystal Beach rules that need your attention to avoid added fees…

• IMPORTANT GUEST INFORMATION: Please be certain to read the above section “Important Guest Info“.
• DAMAGES: Please report any damages in the house within the first hour of your arrival.
• CRYSTAL BEACH PARKING RULES: Overnight street parking is not allowed. Cars must not block the sidewalk in driveway in the day, or City of Destin code compliance can give you a citation. You are responsible to pay the citation in cash at the clubhouse and text a copy of the receipt.
• GOLF CART: A golf cart rental is available.
• GAS GRILL: You are responsible for cleaning the grill cleaning. The cleaning company charges $100 fee if not cleaned. If using the grill the gas valve may be turned off .
• CAMERA: This is outside the house for your safety, and must not be tampered with; or you will be asked to leave without credit, or damage deposit.
• SMOKING: No smoking or vaping allowed inside the house.
• NOISE ORDINANCE: 10pm during the week, and 11 on weekends.
• POOL: No diving, or glass allowed at the pool. Babies must wear plastic pants. Please avoid system shutdown, and do not hit button on bottom left. Do not go behind house and tamper with the pool equipment. Tapering with pool equipment will result in $500 fine.
• POOL SKIMMER: Check the skimmer basket for leaves. If full just remove it and dump leaves. Leaves will slow water flow and cause the pool heater to stop working.
• PETS: Pets are not allowed due to allergies. If pets are brought into the house there will be a $500 fine.
• HOUSE BOOK: Our house book has information about grocery stores, beach access, restaurants, ice cream shops, things to do, golf courses, emergency contacts, and etc. Check-out instructions there too.
• FACEBOOK: “Like”, “Beachwalk Retreat” and post your group photo.

CHECK OUT PROCEDURES

• CHECK OUT TIME: 10:00am CST To ensure you receive your security deposit refund, please follow this checklist:
• DISHWASHER: – Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run it. Make sure all pots and pans are clean and put away.
• FOOD: Remove all personal food items from the refrigerator, freezer, pantry and outside areas.
• TRASH: Be sure all trash in trash cans are emptied and put trash in containers outside of the house.
• BEDROOMS: Please leave all sheets and pillowcases, mattress pads, blankets, bedspreads on the bed for housekeeping to handle.
• TOWELS: Please hang all used towels and washcloths in bathroom.
• PERSONAL ITEMS: Be sure to check all rooms for your personal items, outlets for cell phone chargers.
• OUTSIDE: Clean the grill. The cleaning company charges $100 if the grill is not clean with cover.
• BEACH STUFF: Clean sand off beach items and put back in the where they were.
• DOORS: Be sure front and rear doors are closed and locked.
• DAMAGES: Notify us of any damage, or items we need to address at the house.
• WHEN LEAVING HOUSE: Please text your departure time for cleaning company to get started. 678-575-4184. Thank you for leaving our home just as you found it. Safe travels and we hope to see you again soon.
• SOCIAL MEDIA: Thank you for spending your vacation at Beach Walk Retreat! Be sure to post your group photo on our Facebook page “Beach Walk Retreat” or mention us on your other social media.

Pool Control Panel:

There are 5 active buttons that control the pool, they are:
Spa, Spa Jets, Deck Jets, Waterfalls, Pool lights

To turn on the Spa:

1. Press the spa button. It takes a few minutes to switch to spa mode.
2. DO NOT press the button more than once, this will confuse the operation of the pool automation controller.
3. The red LED will light to indicate the spa mode is active.
4. The spa will take some time to heat, usually about 15-20 minutes depending on outside temperature.
5. The spa water temperature is displayed on the panel.
6. Spa jets are optional. Press the spa jets button to turn on. The red LED will light to indicate they are on.
7. The spa and spa jets will automatically turn off after 1 hour.

To turn on the Deck Jets:

1. Press the deck jet button. It takes a few seconds to turn on the deck jets.
2. DO NOT press the button more than once, this will confuse the operation of the pool automation controller.
3. The red LED will light to indicate the deck jets mode is active.
4. To turn off the deck jets press the button again and the LED will go out or they will automatically shut off after 1 hour.
5. Deck jets can be run any time.

To turn on the Waterfalls:

1. Press the waterfall button. It takes a few seconds to turn on the waterfalls.
2. DO NOT press the button more than once, this will confuse the operation of the pool automation controller.
3. To turn off the waterfalls press the button again and they will shut off or they will automatically shut off after 1 hour.
4. The waterfalls will NOT WORK when the spa is mode is active.

1. Press the pool light button. It takes a few seconds to turn on the pool lights.
2. DO NOT press the button more than once, this will confuse the operation of the pool automation controller.
3. To turn off the pool lights press the button again.
4. The pool lights will shut off after 11 o’clock PM.

Welcome to our neighborhood! Crystal Beach is a quiet residential neighborhood. We are a residential community and that means we have permanent residents. We ask that you follow out Rules and Regulations. It will make life better for our residents and out guest. Nothing can wreck a vacation like a visit from the local police or a ticket. So here are the basic rules for the community:

• The noise curfew begins at 10 pm Sunday through Thursday and is 11 pm Friday and Saturday. Loud noise or music that becomes a nuisance is not allowed. Turn it down at curfew.
• Owners are responsible for the actions of their guests, invitees or lessees.
• No glass containers are allowed on the pool deck.
• No parking is allowed on the streets.
• No parking on anywhere but the driveway. Do not park on the side of the street.
• Golf carts may only be driven by licensed drivers.

1. Sprinkles 

Sprinkles is an old-fashioned ice cream shop that is less than
a minute’s walk from the Henderson Park Inn. Located inside of our sister property, The
Henderson, this excellent parlor is reminiscent of the malt shops of the 1940s. Guests
will find a variety of classic ice cream dishes, including sundaes, milkshakes, and root
beer floats. Sprinkles is open every day from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. We recommend stopping
by this ice cream parlor after you visit The Henderson’s adults only swimming pool,
which is open to guests at our bed and breakfast.

you bring your own banana to Brewster’s on Thursday, you’ll get ½ off your banana split!
